Mary Adeyinka Adepoju
As a dedicated Research Scientist with a Doctorate in Post-Harvest Technology and Food Safety, I am driven by a passion for innovation and a desire to make a meaningful impact. However, my journey extends far beyond the laboratory. I am also an entrepreneur, proudly leading Martella Ventures, a growing business empire. This includes Martella Treats, a hub for culinary delights and a cake and confectionery outlet; Martella Foods, a food packaging solutions; and Martella Emporium, a fashion destination.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I am deeply committed to personal growth and empowering others. My debut book, Single and Waiting, reflects this mission. It offers insights and guidance to individuals navigating their single season, encouraging them to embrace it as a time for self-discovery, value-building, and preparing for the future they envision.
Writing Single and Waiting ignited the idea to create a platform where mature singles could connect, bond, and support one another. Though building this community took time, the vision remained strong. While the idea was incubating, the Let’s Rub Minds (LRM) Community emerged as a thriving network, serving as a foundation for the eventual creation of Let’s Rub Mind-Singles’ Forum (LRM-SF), a special arm dedicated to singles. Seeing the birth of LRM-SF has been a true delight for me, as it fulfills a long-held dream of fostering a supportive space for singles to grow, share experiences, and build meaningful connections.
The book is not just for singles—it also provides valuable lessons for married couples. By addressing topics like building strong values and principles, cultivating meaningful social circles, and navigating parenting, Single and Waiting offers wisdom and practical advice to help readers strengthen their relationships and enrich their lives.
Whether you’re single, married, or somewhere in between, my hope is that this book, along with the communities it has inspired, serves as a source of encouragement, growth, and inspiration.

About the Forum
The LRM Singles’ Forum (LRM-SF) is a platform, designed to build a support community for Christian singles – both male and female, who are waiting and not currently in a relationship.
Within the community, genuine real-life stories would be shared to encourage one another. Problem sharing and solving, and accountability partnership would be encouraged and fostered, to provide necessary support tailored to individual’s need.
LRM-SF is an extension of Let’s Rub Minds (LRM), an inclusive online community that fosters personal growth, promotes positive values, and inspires individuals to actively contribute to societal progress through meaningful discussions and engagements on contemporary issues related to self-development and collaborative initiatives. This online community encourages the exchange of diverse perspectives to enrich discussions and to provide a supportive and safe space for individuals to freely express themselves.
